Pristine Carpet Care - What's in Your Carpet?

Crawlin' critters and crud: A guide to the slime, grime and livestock that?s living, sleeping, creeping and galloping through your carpet.

Firstly, will you help us? We are trying to find at least one thing that is in your carpet for each letter of the alphabet. All that is left are J, K, N, O, W, Q, W, X, Y and Z. If you can think of something oooh nasty that could be in your carpet, beginning with one of these letters we would be pleased to hear about it for possible inclusion in our next reprint of the consumer?s guide.

Here?s what we have got so far:

  • Asphalt
  • Bacteria
  • Car Exhaust, Chemicals
  • Dirt, Dust, Dust Mites
  • Earth
  • Food Particles, Fungus
  • Germs, Gravel, Grease, Grime, Grit
  • Hair
  • Industrial Waste
  • Lint
  • Mud
  • Pet Detritus, Pollen, Pollutants
  • RockSand, Scum
  • Smoke, Soot, Soil
  • Tar, Tobacco Smoke
  • Urine
  • Vomit
Don?t forget that there are little critters like dust mites and fleas living, hiding, breeding and defecating in carpets all over the country! We aim to help put a stop to this behaviour.
